Fille & Moi french for girl(s) and me, and who am I? Gemma Rostron, mother of two beautiful girls living on the sunny coast of NSW, Nambucca Heads.

Fille & Moi although sometimes difficult to pronounce, symbolises the passion I have for capturing beautiful moments through the lens and creating lasting memories. This name was created by me to be unique but also carry meaning, starting my photography journey when my daughters were 1 & 2 years old (I know, so very close in age, eek) I wanted the name to signify the united team that was… my girls & me. Tayla and Georgia are now 11 & 12 years old and continue to be my biggest inspirations and support. Photography for me is all about capturing life’s simple journey’s and I’m so glad to have them on this journey with me.

As time went on, my girls grew taller and the years passed by, my clients grew and I watched their families grow. Photographing over 500 families, more than 50 new-borns in over 50 locations globally I am grateful to be able to capture each family’s journey and create lasting memories of their special moments.

Being a mother to two beautiful girls, I love to create memories of life’s simple journeys. Specialising in maternity, newborn, children and family portrait sessions. Capturing moments harnessing the captivating backgrounds that mother nature offers is a true love of mine. Also offering natural and in-home location photo sessions both in and around the Nambucca Valley, Scotts Head, Coffs Harbour as well as monthly trips to Brisbane.

Fille & Moi is known for being the original Santa on the Beach, created in 2011. Since its creation, it has become one of the Mid North Coast’s most favourite Christmas events. Bookings open November 1 2022 and this is going to be bugger and better than ever! With over 300 families attending each year, Santa on the Beach Mid North Coast is one of the fastest growing Christmas events on the calendar.
